Love Of Tides

I was a pelagic ocean tide

Moving aimlessly,weakly without any pride

Then you came, the gentle breeze

And pierced and pushed me forward with ease

To reach my goal and set me ashore

You took me to great heights and I arrived with a roar.

 

I turned back to share that happiness with you

You went far away,elsewhere,without any clue.

I returned to where I started, in quest  of you,and I

I queried the sun;the moon;the sky;the birds,no one ever made a reply.

Now,I am lingering in the path of memories you had left,

Whilst I can feel you everywhere,I couldn’t find you,now, I am bereft.
