Sunrise

Poetry Type: *Kyrielle

Corpulent star made of hydrogen

Twirling at the center  of the galaxy,

Pouring golden rays of progression

We all wait for the sunrise fervently.

Sweet voice of the morning linnet

welcomes the majestic sun loudly

Poets are prompted to write  sonnets

We all wait for the sunrise fervently.

Immobile trees dancing in a glee

To the tune of agile winds childishly

Shining bright forever with beauty

We all wait for the sunrise fervently.

Flower  flourishing from tiny bud

Longing for sun’s warmness frequently

And joy  nourishing from the  dirty mud

We all wait for the sunrise fervently.

Evil darkness gifts  us ugly fiasco

striking our goals and hopes slyly

Leaving  us all, alone in strife so

We all wait for the sunrise fervently.

* A Kyrielle is a French form of rhyming poetry written in quatrains (a stanza consisting of 4 lines), and each quatrain contains a repeating line or phrase as a refrain (usually appearing as the last line of each stanza). Each line within the poem consists of only eight syllables. There is no limit to the amount of stanzas a Kyrielle may have, but three is considered the accepted minimum.
